Henry, don’t worry if you feel the rain coming,
our love is kept in a cool, dry place.
Twenty-four, but the storm is ageless,
angrily tested as I tempest around the room.

Henry, don’t go, before we tear ourselves apart, like a Russian novel.
Even my silence is yours, wrapped in this body, cut and uncut.
